Description

Les Saintes-Terre-de-Haut aerodrome (AITA code: LSS • ICAO code: TFFS) is located on the territory of the municipality of Terre-de-Haut in the Saintes archipelago in Guadeloupe.
Located on the edge of the Caribbean Sea at an altitude of 14 m above sea level, on the edge of the village of Terre-de-Haut, the aerodrome has a hard runway 580 m long.

It is open to restricted category D air traffic (light aircraft) mainly from Guadeloupe-Pôle Caraïbes airport in Pointe-à-Pitre for tourist purposes. To land at this aerodrome, pilots must have a special clearance (called “site qualification”) due to the topographical features of the runway and difficult weather conditions (downdraft winds).
