Meadow Creek USFS Airport is an airstrip located in the Flathead National Forest along the South Flathead River running south from Hungry Horse Reservoir.
It’s tugged away in a valley between Spotted Bear Mountain to the North and Meadow Mountain to the South.
It’s owned by the USFS and manage through the Spotted Bear Ranger District.
Beside the turf runway, which measures 2830 x 100 feet at an elevation of 3993 feet, there is not much out there.
Closest charted landing site is Spotted Bear USFS Airport 8U4 approx. 10nm to the NW.
Runway surface may consist of tall, wet grass and can be in very soft conditions.

Approximately, at the third-way mark between Meadow Creek and Big Prairie Ranger St. to the South
You Find An Abandoned And Closed Airstrip On The Western Side Of The Flathead River. Look For The Bridge As A Clue!
It’s not maintained and party overgrown. Bring a STOL capable aircraft when you chose to give that site a long awaited visit. On the northern side, the runway circle symbol can still be seen between some vegetation. (I have modified the site, but haven’t placed any airport/parking, so you can’t spawn there. You have to fly there)
