PMDY ✔ Henderson Field, Sand Island, Wake Atoll
PMDY is a former WW2 base,build in 1942 as an important Bomber and naval Base during the Battle of the Pacific.
From 1993 US Navy closed there operation, and today the airfield is maintained as Emergency deviation point for ETOP operations.
The facilities are maintained by the US Fish & Wildlife Service together with the US Federal Administration.
For you, Henderson Field is a safe haven on a long and lonely cross pacific flight, but remember that from November to June it is best tp approach the island in the night, because it is home for the worlds biggest nesting colony of Albatrosses.
PMDY is created with MSFS SDK using stock objects only.Just unzip and drop the PMDY folder into your Community folder.
