Description

A 374nm route around most of the Scottish updated scenery. Taking off from Prestwick (EGPK) and eventually getting to Newcastle (EGNT) where i’ll start the next part of the Tour through the UK.

Scenery Taken By Includes (amongst The Numerous Mountains And Lochs):
Mount Stuart House, Glenfinnan Viaduct, Eilean Donan Castle, Blair Castle, Balmoral Castle, Glamis Castle, National Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle, The Kelpies, The Forth Road and Rail Bridges (3), Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh Castle, Palace of Holyroodhouse and Floors Castle.

Recommend minimum altitude between legs – 4500ft

Beware of high sided valleys next to some of the scenery –

Recommend climb out through the valleys and establish safe altitude, then resume following the flight plan.
Route continues down to Newcastle, where i’ll pick up the England Tour from.
