Description
The municipality of Redondela is located in the south-central zone of the province of Pontevedra, to the west of the Autonomous Community of Galicia, forming part of the region of Vigo. Redondela is located on a natural area of exceptional beauty, at an average altitude of 15 meters above sea level, occupying a land area of approximately 51 square kilometers. This municipal term has a total of thirteen parishes, a common form of administration in Galician territory, over which about 30,000 inhabitants are distributed. The municipality of Redondela can be easily accessed through the A-9 motorway or the N-550 road in the direction of Vigo. It is 150, 78, and 19 kilometers from the cities of A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, and Pontevedra respectively.
