A selection of alternate desktop icons, based on official artwork for Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Okay, so this may not even be able to be considered a mod, since it doesn’t even effect the game itself, but this seems like the most appropriate place for me to share this.

This originally started as just me wanting to change the game icon to have John instead of Arthur, since the last hundred hours or so of my playthrough have been as John, but then, like most things, I got very carried away and turned it into a whole project.

So, here we have a selection of icons featuring original promotional art by Roxie Vizcarra for Red Dead Redemption 2, as well as some featuring promotional art from the first game. There are icons for every member of the Van der Linde gang (except Kieran, because Rockstar hates him and didn’t give him any promo art), John’s cover art render from RDR1, another promo art of John which is stylistically very similar to Arthur’s cover art for RDR2, Bonnie McFarlane, Landon Ricketts, and Bill Williamson from RDR1.

I assume most people know how to change a shortcut icon, or can just do a quick Google search, but if you need help with installation, there’s a readme file included in the .zip file.
